BYSA uses SI Play as a league management and online registration system. This system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for you to sign up online and otherwise manage your account. By registering online during the registration period, you avoid the need to come to an in-person registration session. Payments made online can be made through Visa or MasterCard. You can pay by check or cash during in-person registration sessions.
To register for the first time, you will need to upload your birth certificate so we can verify your child's age. For subsequent seasons, you will not need to upload the birth certificate again. The address you provide with your account will determine whether or not you are in BYSA boundaries. Even if you are outside the boundaries, you can still register to play but are not eligible for All Stars following the spring season. An address verification document (such as driver's license or recent utility bill) is required to confirm your address for All Star purposes.
Registration for fall seasons will typically open in July and for spring seasons registration will open in November.
In-Person Registration Sessions
Session will still be held where people can sign up in person. This is also the time when people wanting to pay cash or by check can do so. These registrations will still be done online using BYSA-provided computers. These sessions also offer opportunities to come speak to board members about any questions or comments you might have regarding the park.
For the Spring 2019 season, the in-person registration dates are December 8, January 3, and January 5.
Please be aware of payment cut-off dates posted for registration. After the regular registration period closes, late registrations will be subject to a $25 fee. In addition, we cannot guarnantee available spots for people who sign up during late registration. Spaces in a division are first come, first serve. If a division fills up, you will be placed on a waiting list. (Your credit card is not charged unless you move from the waiting list to an active spot.) If your payment is not received by the cut-off date, you will not be placed on a team and may lose your spot for the season if there is a waiting list. You can confirm that your payment has been received and order is complete by logging on to your SI Play account and ensuring that you do not have a balance due. Any checks returned for non-sufficient funds will be subject to a $25 fee, which will be added to registration.
League Management System
In addition to online registration, SI Play includes a league management system through which you can view your team information once your child is assigned to a team. Your manager’s information will be available for you to ask questions and you will have access to your schedule and other information through the system. The team information is also available through the SI Play app.
